Shelby O’Neil: Activist and Explorer

My guest on this episode is Shelby O'Neil.

Shelby began volunteering at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and was so inspired by the environmental issues facing our ocean that she decided to take action! Shelby formed Jr Ocean Guardians for her 2017 Girl Scout of America Gold Award Project to share her passion to save our ocean and marine life for future generations.

She followed up by starting the No Straw November Challenge and is now working with #VotelessNotVoiceless to help educate young people on how to use their voice to inspire environmental voters.
